RISECCOLI's Chianti Classico represents the true terroir of the estate, shown through this predominantly Sangiovese wine. The wine is clear, bright and medium ruby in color. The nose is pure and fragrant with hints of red and black currants. Medium to full-body, ripe fruit, fresh acidity and savoury finish. Velvety tannins. The wine will develop complexity with adequate cellaring.

“Exhibits blackberry and liquorice aromas with hints of vanilla. Full-bodied, with chewy tannins. There's lots of new wood, but also impressive concentration of fruit. Should settle down a bit with bottle age. Needs time. Best after 2010.” 2006 Vintage
James Suckling, Wine Spectator
